2. Data Scrubbing
Our advanced tool takes over from here. Below is how we manage and refine your data:
- Take out unnecessary columns. We retain only essential data fields for business analysis and mailing (Address, Acreage, etc).
- Trim Parcel Zip. Only the first 5 digits of the Parcel Zip are kept.
- Filter Out Unwanted Entries. Rows are removed if they contain specific keyword that indicate unmarketable ownership such as HOA, bank, school, etc.
- Address Validation. Rows with incomplete or incorrect mailing addresses are excluded to ensure the accuracy of your mailing campaigns.
3. Data Organization
The data is rearranged to ensure that it aligns perfectly with mailers' (like PostcardMania) formatting requirements:
- Fallback Filling. "Owner 1 First Name" filled if empty
- Data Sorting. The cleaned data is sorted first by Parcel Zip.
- Column Organization. Columns are rearranged to meet mailer standards.
- Column Additions. Personal address/detail columns are added to meet mailer standards.
